Photo time ! - Light Painting...

Well, truly, this arti­cle is not about light pain­ting in gene­ral but about a pic­ture in par­ti­cu­lar that got stuck in my eyes while sur­fing on Fli­ckr.

It has been taken by phil­war­ner and it’s appa­rently the pic­ture of an "art piece" able to fly (an heli­cop­ter model with neon lights on it is my best guess) :

The real artist in this pic­ture is Char­les Fon­te­not who built the flying art piece he named Rat­bird. It was an ama­zing light show to watch fly at night.

Photo time ! - Ike, the reflexions.

I pos­ted ear­lier a series of pic­tu­res taken by the talen­ted pho­to­gra­phers wor­king for the Bos­ton Globe after Ike hit Texas and Haïti in Sep­tem­ber 2008. That series is part of the Globe’s Big Pic­ture rubric, which aim is to relate actua­li­ties in pic­tu­res.
